endless stories in art form

Personal Journey and Design Thinking
My life and work are deeply intertwined, each shaping the other. Creativity fueled by emotions and refined by critical thinking has taught me to balance passion with precision, vulnerability with purpose.

Creativity and Critical Thinking
Emotions spark creativity, while logic structures it. Balancing the two has been transformative, allowing me to channel raw ideas into meaningful expressions.

Thinking Process
Problem-solving unites creativity and critical thinking, making life itself an expression of creativity.

My Journey Continues
I’ve reached a point in my life where I’ve gained a deeper understanding of my emotions and how to express them thoughtfully through critical thinking. Every experience, every person I’ve encountered, and every book I’ve read has contributed to shaping my perspective and expanding my horizons.

I feel fortunate to have been exposed to such diversity in ideas and personalities, as they’ve enriched my journey in profound ways. Yet, I know there is still so much more to explore, to experience, and to express. My journey is far from over—it is a continuous process of growth, discovery, and creation.

During the ceremony where I became a US citizen in 2010, it was exhilarating to see immigrants from every nation around the world moved by the occasion as we became part of a new community. I was inspired by how they each brought their different backgrounds with pride to fly together.

art form inspired by artist Edvard Munch

On September 3, 2015, the body of 2-year-old Alan Kurdi washed ashore in Turkey, a tragic symbol of his family’s failed attempt to flee war-torn Syria.

The haunting image of his lifeless body stirred global mourning and outrage. I imagined the unimaginable—his mother’s desperate attempts to save him as their vessel capsized, and his final moments of fear and helplessness before the sea claimed him.

Alan’s still body on the shore became a heartbreaking reminder of the suffering endured by countless others.

In 2008 I stepped into the world of 3D design. I began my work with clay and got introduced to the glass medium. In this work, I have tried to capture my transition from Graphic Design into Dimensional work.

Simple forms are sometimes very powerful. These pieces are simply demonstrating and celebrating the power of forms.

sinkhole - multiple pieces

In 2013, a sinkhole opened up in a bedroom in Seffner, Florida, swallowing a man while he was asleep. When I first read the news, it felt nightmarishly surreal. This piece came to me as I read and educated myself about sinkholes, topography, and freak events. The Earth just gives way and takes in the unsuspecting, a tragedy I just couldn’t fathom.
